A year after the release of his debut album “The Stars Are Fire”, Bob Data, the solo alias of Aleksandrs Oļģerts Bērziņš of Irklis returns to STURM with a follow-up EP “States Of No Matter”. His latest offering contains four new works of meticulously crafted minimal electro-industrial music, morphing beautifully sombre and invocating soundscapes, pulsating synths and basslines into spaces in between the sturdy minimalist rhythmic structures, with the heart and quality common and cherished both in the works of Irklis and Bob Data. “States Of No Matter” is here to envoke sonically guided pathways in ones mind.
